As a Preferred CertainTeed Siding Contractor, we offer a wide range of vinyl siding options in different colors, textures, and styles, ensuring you can find the right pick for your home. Our available options include:

American Legend: Cost-effective clapboard and dutchlap siding that features a woodgrain texture, fade-resistant colors, and GripLock™ technology to improve durability.

Monogram: A premium vinyl option renowned for its durability, strength, weather resistance, and low maintenance requirements.

Cedar Impressions®: Get the look and feel of natural cedar without compromising durability. Although this line is made from vinyl, it replicates the charm of genuine cedar with its realistic woodgrain texture.

Board & Batten: T1-11 siding doesn’t last. If you want vertical siding that looks and feels like traditional wood, go for our Board & Batten line. We offer 7” and 8” panels and over 30 color options.

Our Process

Step 1

It all begins with a desire to transform the way you see your home when you pull in your driveway. Using this Design Tool, upload a picture of your home and let's begin that journey together.

Step 2

From there we meet, working together to find an option to meet your vision, fit your budget, and provide protection against Michigan's seasonal weather events. CertainTeed Monogram, Cedar Impressions, and Hidden Vent soffit deliver quality form and industry-leading performance.

Step 3

Once hired, managers scour over the order, place material orders, and the countdown begins. Get your orders in now for Spring install and be able to enjoy your new exterior throughout the next year!

Step 4

The first day on-site is setup, removal, and preparation. Any wood replacement is completed, foam installation done where needed, and house wrap installed.

Step 5

Metal starter strips are THE BEST foundation for your siding project, and with proper channeling and clean aluminum metal work your home is set for the main attraction.

Step 6

EVERY NAIL should be delivered by hand, as Michigan's tough weather patterns cause excessive expansion and contraction. Your siding must move with it, or that siding will develop an unsightly wavy pattern that will bother you each time you pull into your driveway.

How Vinyl Siding Compares to Other Options

We specialize in vinyl siding for a reason. Because we have over seven decades of combined industry experience, we’ve installed many different types of siding and handled countless siding repair jobs. We know what lasts, and we know what doesn’t. Vinyl is by far the most durable option for Michigan homes because the color won’t fade from UV exposure, it won’t degrade when exposed to water, it offers exceptional resistance against wind and hail, and it can be installed with insulation to improve efficiency.

Many homes in Michigan were built with aluminum, T1-11, and Hardie Board siding. Here is how vinyl compares to these siding types:

Aluminum: Aluminum won’t resist impact from hail, is more expensive and complicated to install, and requires recoating or repainting during its expected 30-year lifespan.

T1-11: Wood siding, also known as T1-11, is susceptible to moisture and pests, is more expensive to install, must be painted or stained, and requires significant maintenance during its, at best, 20-year lifespan.

Hardie Board: Compared to aluminum and T1-11 siding, Hardie Board offers better durability. In many ways, its durability can be comparable to vinyl siding. However, it’s not as resistant to impact, is more dangerous to install, and it requires repainting during its 30-year lifespan.

L&S has just completed their 2nd project on my house, and I couldn’t be more delighted! The roof they installed 3 years ago still looks amazing! Their team was efficient, neat, and friendly. Furthermore, the crew leader was able to figure out a way to modify the venting on the front of my house so that I didn’t have those ugly boxes all over the place lol. Like, he did it ON SITE, DURING installation. I can’t find/remember his name, but L&S should bonus him up if they can.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Brody and Scott who were equally excellent! They replaced/repaired some problem aluminum siding, and added siding where there was only bare wood. In addition, they were able to take care of some other problems on my garage that I only noticed last minute. The extra work took a few more hours, in diabolical heat without shade, but Scott and Brody remained gracious and friendly while taking it all in stride. They made everything look even better than I hoped for!

A special shout out to Tony, Matthew, and the L&S receptionists who also made the entire process pleasant and achievable in a timely manner, helping me to be well prepared for painting next week.

This company has easily earned all of my future business, and I won’t hesitate to recommend them to my own family and friends.
